As we know that, nowadays Android is one of the most popular operating system used worldwide. According to Statista, Android enjoyed an 87 percent share of the global market in 2019. Android has held the market share lead in the mobile OS space since 2012.

USSD(Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) codes or Secret codes can be used to unlock some hidden features in your Phone.

There are also MMI codes (Man Machine Interface codes) for android. They begin with a prefix hash(#) or asterisk(*). They can be used to obtain information or activate / deactivate various functions in your phone.

To Hide Your Phone Number On Outgoing Calls


Do you ever want to prank call your friends by hiding your phone number from them or prevent someone from knowing its you who's calling them (when they already have your phone) or you might need to make an important phone call for your work without showing them your personal phone number. I got you here. There are quite a few ways you can prevent your phone number from being seen on outgoing calls.

Here are a few codes you can use to do so though they may or may not work for you.
If the code worked then your phone number will appear private or unknown.

Enter *67 before the phone number and then press the call button.

If the above code doesn't work, try typing #31# before the phone number and then press the call button.

To Display IMEI Number 




IMEI or International Mobile Equipment Identity is 15 digit unique number for your phone. It is a serial number that all mobile phones and smartphones have.

You can find it on your phone's packaging box or in your phone's setting.

You can quickly see your IMEI number by typing the code *#06#.

To Enable And Disable Voice Dialing Logging Mode




You can use the code *#*#8351#*#* to enable the voice dialing logging feature and the code *#*#8350#*#* to disable it

To Display Bluetooth Device Address 




A Bluetooth device address (or Bluetooth MAC Address / BD_ADDR) is a unique 48-bit value that identifies your Bluetooth device.

To Activate or Deactivate  EFR Mode



Efr stands for Enhanced full rate. It can boost your cell phone reception and improve the sound quality of your phone though it also reduces your battery life.

You can activate the EFR mode by entering this code : *3370#

To deactivate the ERF mode, enter the following code : #3370#.


To Backup Your Media Files


In case of data loss, you can use this code to quickly backup your media files.

Backup is basically the process of copying and storing the data elsewhere in case of data loss or corruption.

To Test Your GPS 




GPS or Global Positioning System is a global navigation satellite system supporting highly accurate navigation, positioning and timing measurements, that is, it provides location, velocity and time synchronisation.

NOTE - A lot of codes are either carrier specific of ROM specific, or sometimes it can even depend on your phone brand and model. So there is no guarantee that these codes will work on your phone.
